There were 12 members present and one guest. Donna Ahlstrom. Jim Underwood made a motion to accept November, 2007 minutes as printed in the newsletter, seconded by Rich Carver motion carried. Howard Morstatter gave the treasurer’s report. Motion was made by Roger Kapraun accept the treasurer’s report as given, seconded by John Chorak. Motion carried. Our first event of 2008 will be the spring banquet on April 27 th at Chippers Grill in Streator at 5:00 p.m. The next event will be the Fun-Fly on June 22 nd . The porta-potty will be at the field on May 1 st . With no further business to discuss, Roger Kapraun made a motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned. PRESIDENT’S CORNER By Burdette Ahlstrom I herd there were a lot of flyers out at the field on April 5 th . And they had a great time except for 2. Dean Ahlstrom and Robert Young both had problems at the north and north east of the field. They said they lost control of their aircraft and they couldn’t do anything to get it back. If anyone has problems in that area please let me know so we can find out what is going on. I may have to get in touch with AMA and see if the field has any interference. I sure don’t want anyone to keep loosing aircraft in that area. I would like to thank Randy Bond and Jim Underwood for rolling the field. I think we should roll it again after we have a good rain. It won’t be long we will have to be mowing again. I would like to remind people please use the frequency pins when you are flying so no one will be shot down. It’s no fun loosing an aircraft because no one will take the time to open the frequency board and make sure your transmitter Is put in the impound area when you are done flying. Well I hope to see you all at the meeting. NOTICE Don’t forget our banquet on April 27 th .
