There were 10 members present. Roger Kapraun made a motion to accept the November, 2008 minutes as printed in the newsletter, seconded by Robert Young. Motion carried. Howard Morstatter gave the treasurer’s report. Motion was made by Tom Vagasky to accept the treasurer’s report as given, seconded by Brian Burcar. Motion carried. The club will have a spring banquet on April 19 th , 2009 at Chipper Bar & Grill in Streator, IL., cocktails at 5p.m. Dinner at 6p.m. The club is asking that everyone that belongs to the club to give Howard Morstatter their address and phone number and AMA number. The newsletter editor needs your E-Mail address for the members who have E-Mail so he can send your newsletter to you. The club has changed some of the bylaws. I will see if John Chorak can put the bylaws on the web page. Then every one can vote on them. Just send me an E-Mail telling me yes or no. We talked about changing the meetings for June, July and August to the third Sunday of each month. The meeting will be at 2:00 p.m. then we can fly after the meeting. The fiscal year will be from October 31 st . through September 30 th . We will be voting on the bylaws at the March meeting. We will be discussing more on working on the impound area at the March meeting. I will let everyone know about voting on this at a later date. With no further business to discuss, motion was made by Tom Vagasky to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned. PRESIDENT’S CORNER By Burdette Ahlstrom I will be changing my E-Mail address. I will put it in the newsletter when I change it. I’m telling you all, I will be so glad when this winter is over. I’m sure everyone agrees with me! It will be so great when we can start flying again. I know some have been out flying already, when we had those nice days. There was a sheet of metal that blew off of the roof on southwest corner of the big shed. Dean Ahlstrom said he would fix it. The door on the little shed has come loose. When the weather get better we will have to fix it. I would like to ask everyone if they go flying out at the field, please be carful so you don’t make ruts in the parking lot, it makes it hard to mow when there are ruts.
