There were 9 members present. Jim Underwood made a motion to accept the April, 2009 minutes as printed in the newsletter, seconded by Rick Topolski. Motion carried. Howard Morstatter gave the treasurer’s report. Motion was made by Dale Chiavene to accept the treasurer’s report as given, seconded by Ray Seng. Motion carried. Randy Bond made a motion to accept the amended by-laws as presented, seconded by Jim Underwood. Motion carried. The club discussed having the June, July and August meetings on the third Sunday of the month at the field. Meeting time will be 2:00 p.m. This will be voted on by the members present at our May meeting. With no further business to discuss, motion was made by Jim Underwood to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned. PRESIDENT’S CORNER By Burdette Ahlstrom I know we have had a lot of rain and the field has been very wet and muddy. I have been trying to keep it mowed once a week. I have made a muddy mess of the mower and I will try to clean it up once it dries up. I know some of the members have been flying and having a good time. Once again I must ask everyone that are flying to please fly safe. I would like everyone to go to our web site and get a copy of our by-laws and read them. I will try to send a copy of the by-laws to the members that don’t have a computer. Safety must be one of the first priorities at our field. I know our Fun-Fly will be here before we know it. The Fun-Fly will be June 28 th 2009. We will need a lot of help that day so if you don’t have plans please come and try to help. Well I hope to see everyone at the meeting. NOTICE Dale Chiavene is our new coordinator for the States of IL. KY. IN. MO., as of May 1 st 2009. He took the place of Randy Cameron. He was the coordinator for 10 Yrs. Good luck Dale.
