There were 9 members present. Jim Underwood made a motion to accept the August, 2008 minutes as printed in the newsletter, seconded by Dale Chiavene Motion carried. Howard Morstatter gave the treasurer’s report. Motion was made by Randy Bond to accept the treasurer’s report as given, seconded by Dale Chiavene. Motion carried. Howard Morstatter gave a financial report for the year. We will vote on this at our next meeting. The officers for next year were presented. President, Burdette Ahlstrom, Vice President, Jim Underwood, Treasurer, Howard Morstatter, Secretary, Rachel Bond, Field Marshall, Randy Bond, Assistance, John Chorak, Dale Chiavene, and Jim Underwood, Newsletter Editor, Burdette Ahlstrom. Web Page, John Chorak. Elections will be at the November meeting. Jim Underwood brought up the possibility of starting a woman’s auxiliary. We will discuss more on this at 2009 February meeting. There will be no meetings in December 2008, January 2009. Our first meeting in 2009 will be February 18 th . With no further business to discuss, motion was made by Randy Bond to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned. PRESIDENT’S CORNER By Burdette Ahlstrom Well, another flying year is just about over! I know we will still have a few more days of nice weather and may get a few more chances to fly but we all know what is ahead, winter, snow and ice. I hate to think of it anymore. The old body isn’t as good as it once was. I just envy the ones that go south for the winter. Some day maybe I will be able to go south for the winter, Way south. I just want to say thanks again for all the help at the field this year. I would like to ask everyone that pays their dues, please give Howard Morstatter your AMA number. We have to turn in a sheet every year with every member that is in our club to the AMA and I can’t do that without an AMA number. Hope to se you at our last meeting of the year this month and don’t forget we will be voting for officers. NOTICE Don’t forget your dues will be due the first of the year.
